Kourtney Kardashian is taking time away from “Keeping Up With Kardashians.”
“I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there. But I’m not saying goodbye,” she revealed in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight.” “But I think you’ll have to see more of it on the new season, Season 18. It isn’t airing yet, but it’s being filmed. Currently, in this room.”
Kourtney, 40, shares three children with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick: Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4.
The Poosh founder has threatened to quit the show for years following feuds with her sisters regarding her work ethic—or seemingly lack thereof. In one episode, sister Kim Kardashian blasted Kourtney when she couldn’t find time to shoot the family Christmas card and called her the “least exciting” family member to look at.
“I need Kourtney to not be so f–king annoying with a stick up her ass like she runs this s–t because she doesn’t,” Kim said at the time. “She is the least exciting to look at, so she can be out.”
Kim later clarified the comment, telling Kourtney, “What I meant is, you’re the most boring.”
Khloé Kardashian elaborated on Kourtney’s decision to reduce her airtime, saying, “We definitely love Kourtney and we will miss Kourtney and whatever she decides to do, but people come, people go all the time in this family. We feel like it’s a revolving door, so Kourtney might leave this week, she’ll be back. They all come back.”
Their brother, Rob Kardashian, departed “KUWTK” a few years ago amid struggles with his health and depression. He returned to TV with “Rob & Chyna,” a series that followed him and now-ex-fiancée Blac Chyna, but it has since been canceled.
